Upon returning to China, spent several years working in roles related to derivatives and options investment and trading.

Coaching Achievements (Partial List):

- 2023 SIC Season 9: Coached three teams that successfully advanced to the Global Finals (winning Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, respectively; achieving a 100% advancement rate). 2022 SIC Season 8: Coached a team that advanced from the Preliminary Round to the Global Finals with a Gold Award; at the Global Finals, the team secured four individual Gold Awards and one individual Silver Award, ultimately winning the Team Gold Award for overall performance.

- 2022–2023 NEC National Round: Coached one team (AS Division) that successfully advanced to the Global Finals. Additionally, one student achieved a perfect score in Macroeconomics (DR Division) and was inducted into the Hall of Fame; one student achieved a perfect score in International Economics (DR-Smart Division) and was inducted into the Hall of Fame; and one team won the National Gold Award in the "Case Analysis" category (DR Division).

- 2022–2023 NEC Regional Round: Coached four teams that advanced to the National Round. Among the students coached, one won an individual Gold Award (AS Division), one received an Honorable Mention in Microeconomics, three won individual Silver Awards, and two won individual Bronze Awards.

- 2022: Coached a team that won the Championship in the Business Pitch competition at the IEO National Finals.

☛ Possesses 5 years of combined experience studying and working in the United States, with an educational background spanning both STEM and Business disciplines.

☛ Upon returning to China, worked in the Finance, Internet, and Media sectors, focusing on brand strategy and business model analysis. Also holds experience in "intrapreneurship" (internal venturing) within an internet enterprise—spearheading the creation of a product and overseeing its entire lifecycle, from development through to launch and commercialization.

In the semi-finals, 55 teams were selected to advance from a pool of nearly 1,400 entries submitted by participants across 53 countries—resulting in an advancement rate of approximately 3.9%. Notably, 8 of these qualifying teams hailed from China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).

WGHS Wharton Investment Competition Coaching Program

Course Objectives

To acquire in-depth knowledge of the business concepts required for the competition, and to develop the ability to independently conduct case analyses as well as analyze and organize stock market data.

The Wharton Global High School Investment Competition (WGHS) is officially organized by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

In the semi-finals, 55 teams were selected to advance from a pool of nearly 1,400 entries submitted by participants across 53 countries—resulting in an advancement rate of approximately 3.9%. Notably, eight of these qualifying teams hailed from China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan).

Even more gratifying is the fact that one of our own student teams is among that select 3.9%!

Notes:

(1) Specific class hours may be subject to minor adjustments based on the students' actual learning progress and performance.

(2) As this is a team-based project, students are required to keep their cameras and microphones turned on throughout the entire duration of each class session.

Students are required to actively cooperate with the instructor in completing all post-class assignments and to prepare in advance for the content of each upcoming lesson, thereby ensuring they are fully prepared for the competition.
